I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, then earned my undergraduate degree in Human Biology at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. I then attended Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon where I earned my MD degree. My medical school has been rated the #1 Medical School in the United States for Primary Care, which is my specialty.
I moved back to California and completed my Internal Medicine Internship at University of California, Irvine, and then completed my Internal Medicine Residency in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Before I opened my own practice, I had work experiences in Student Health Centers, Public Health Clinics, Kaiser Clinics, and private practice with a woman gynecologist. I treasured the time I could spend with my patients in private practice, and have been taking time to listen and care for my patients in private practice for the past 29 years.
